Google’s Karolina Kruszyńska confirmed this morning that Google has taken action on another link network based in Poland. Karolina wrote on Twitter, “today Google took action on a large link network in Poland.”
This is one of many manual action penalties delivered by Google’s web spam team over the course of a year in Poland. Google took action on a Polish link network back in February and then again in July.
This time, Bartosz Goralewicz, a Polish SEO, believes the network that was hit this time was Prolink.pl. This network is known as a “static network” where links are places in mostly the headers, menu, left sidebar or in content as text anchors. He has posted a lot more detail and screen shots on his blog.
